Dual Company

I need to learn how to blog.  What is blog and how is it done and what is an effective blog.  At this time, I am content to get the "system" all worked out where I have a space to blog and my thoughts are shared.  I like the idea of blogging - I just need to focus on what are pertinent for helping my businesses grow.  Yes, businessES!  I am stretching myself in trying to maintain and grow one company and start-up another. Both are different in nature yet the DNA of small business is awfully similar.

Hesitation? Trepidation? Cold Feet?

There are mountain to climb in starting a new business - a small new business - a small new business in the industry where so many competitions thrive.  The challenge of making small baby steps in hopes of making jumps and leaps and skip and a hop seem mountainous.  The seo work that has to be one to each page, image, items for sale, and being unique and creative...finding vendors that are willing to work with you as if they care of every single client of ours...all seem too daunting.  This is only a necessary step into small business - financial independence.  Cold Feet?  no.  Hesitation, no?  Tredipation, no.  Just feeling a bit overwhelmed knowing what is ahead.

Breaking the routine

I confess.  I broke a routine in my 16 hour day and played a round during twilight.  It was unreal to walk and pay for the green fee and tee off when no-one is around.  I enjoyed it and will return to it while the summer time lasts - breaking the routine from long days of work it should pay off when I return to the office tomorrow.

You want more?

I like this article and here is an introduction:

You’ve heard the expression “work smarter, not harder” before, but what does that mean exactly? When your inbox is packed, there's a giant stack on your desk and the phone keeps ringing, how are you supposed to get it all done smarter?

The truth is many of our common ways of doing things aren’t actually productive. When you focus too heavily on the act of doing over the brilliance of planning, you can be spinning your wheels with a lot of extra activities that aren’t driving any results. That means lots of time wasted on things that aren’t worth your attention, or that could be handled in a more efficient manner...

Before Lunch

Eating right is good for all of us.  Eating on time is also a key in staying healthy.  Enjoy lunch, folks!
